“Walker & Rosie were much more than the victims of a tragedy. They were children full of dreams, hope and possibilities,” the park said in a Facebook post. “By coming together to create this park, we’re choosing to focus on the beauty, love and the joy Walker and Rosie brought into the world. We’re choosing to ensure that their light continues to shine through, lighting the way for others and inspiring new generations to live with the same love and enthusiasm for life that they did.”
They also said that the memorial park, an addition to the Beecher City Community Park, will include a pump track and additional upgrades as a result of the donations. For more event details and updates, visit the park’s Facebook page.
