ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is gradually emerging from the cooler temperatures experienced earlier this November.

The region is on track to continue warming up as Thanksgiving approaches.

By the holiday, Central Florida will remain under the influence of a high-pressure ridge situated in the mid-levels of the atmosphere.

This type of weather pattern is known for fostering warm and dry conditions while steering storm systems away to the north.

As a result, temperatures in Central Florida are expected to be above the seasonal average during Thanksgiving.

Many areas within interior Central Florida are likely to reach the lower 80s, with some spots potentially hitting the mid-80s in the afternoon.

The morning will likely start in the upper 50s and low 60s.

The weather should be dry as well.
