Third Suspect Arrested in Deadly Lumpkin Road Shooting, According to RCSO

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – Authorities have apprehended a third individual linked to an armed robbery and deadly shooting at the Smoke Shop located at 2303 Lumpkin Road, as reported by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Terry McClennon, 19, was wanted for the January 10, 2025 incident that resulted in the death 29-year-old Abdallah Abu Rubeha of Augusta.

Deputies responded to the 800 block of Spruce Street and successfully apprehended McClennon without incident, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect was taken to the Charles B. Webster Detention Center, where he faces charges including Malice Murder, three counts of Felony Murder, Armed Robbery, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm by a First Offender.

Antwon Herndon and Terrence Walker have already been arrested in connection to the case.
