BEAN STATION, Tenn. (WJHL) — On Monday, the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) apprehended a suspect in Bean Station after a chase involving a motorcycle.
According to the THP report, the incident occurred at approximately 5:48 p.m. on Lakeshore Drive close to the Hawkins County border, where a motorcycle did not comply with the emergency lights, prompting a pursuit.
“Upon a short pursuit, the driver surrendered and was taken into custody without incident,” the report states.
A preliminary report from the THP said Caleb Rodgers, 27, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Felony Evading
- Possession Sch II
- Possession Sch VI
- Speeding
- Improper Passing
- No Motorcycle Endorsement
- Financial Responsibility
- Unregistered Vehicle
The THP said no additional details were able to be released, per the local district attorney’s office. Rodgers was uninjured, the report said.
