A shooting near a college campus in Inglewood has left at least three people wounded Friday night.
Police responded to the Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology on Aviation Boulevard shortly before 4 p.m.
Sky5 footage shows officers and L.A. Fire Department crews responding to a building where a male suspect was reportedly barricaded inside before fleeing the campus.
The suspect was allegedly wearing an outfit that resembled a security uniform, according to Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts.
At least two female victims, who were reportedly employees of the college, were transported to a local trauma center. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Officers conducted a room-to-room search of the premises, where no additional victims were found. Police are searching for the suspect who remains at large.
Details are limited and it’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
Lanes on nearby Hillcrest and Aviation boulevards will be closed to traffic as a heavy police presence remains at the scene.
