JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — A significant traffic incident has led to the closure of Cherokee Road (SR 67) in Johnson City on Saturday afternoon. According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), the road is currently inaccessible in both directions following a multi-vehicle collision. TDOT Region 1 Communications Officer Mark Nagi shared this update through social media, advising travelers to avoid the area.
