California man struck by 3 cars in fatal hit-and-runs

() A 61-year-old man died after being struck by three vehicles in a series of hit-and-runs in Los Angeles on the evening of Aug. 3.

The man was initially struck while crossing the street. Once on the ground, he was hit by two more vehicles, according to a Los Angeles Police Department news release.

None of the drivers involved in the incident “stopped to identify themselves, render aid, or call 911 to get him assistance as required by law,” according to the release.

Paramedics responded to the scene, and the man was pronounced dead as he was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Police are offering a $50,000 reward to anyone who can provide information on the drivers’ identities.
