At 9:02 a.m. on Friday, the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office and the Silverton Medical Rescue team received a search and rescue call about an in-progress CPR being administered by the Hardrock 100 Safety Sweep Team members.

The woman was located near Gold Lake on Little Giant Trail in San Juan County.

The responding crews had to take a 4×4 backcountry road before hiking a quarter mile to the woman.
