Field of Flags: More than a community service project in Champaign

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — As Veteran’s Day approaches, students at a high school in Champaign County took the opportunity to pay tribute to veterans with a special event on Sunday.

The archery team at Centennial High School organized their “Field of Flags” event, a community service initiative that began last year, according to Heather Miller, an assistant coach.
