18th Annual Pedal HHI event expected to impact travel

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. () — Travelers both local and visiting should anticipate disruptions on Sunday morning due to the 18th Annual Pedal Hilton Head Island cycling event.

Approximately 700 cyclists are anticipated to participate, with activities beginning at Lowcountry Celebration Park on Pope Avenue at 7:30 a.m. Cyclists will start leaving in staggered groups throughout the morning.

Motorists should be aware of potential delays and exercise caution, especially along the following:
