President Trump has advised that pregnant women avoid taking acetaminophen, known as the active ingredient in Tylenol, due to what he claims is a heightened risk of autism in children. However, Kenvue, the company that manufactures Tylenol, states that extensive research “confirms there is no credible evidence linking acetaminophen to autism.” NBC News’ Anne Thompson reports.
