Tune in live at 10 a.m. as Trooper Steve patrols SR-408 to catch speeding drivers.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – When I mention that speeding continues to be a major issue on our roadways, people are often surprised. However, the reality is that it’s not only occurring but it occurs daily.

I understand that traffic issues won’t simply vanish overnight. Yet, this doesn’t mean we should resign ourselves to the situation and do nothing.

We must hold those drivers accountable who give the rest of us a bad name. That’s why today’s live stream aims to highlight the issue and perhaps attract some attention. With school about to resume, addressing this issue is more pressing than ever.

We’re heading to State Road 408, both eastbound and westbound, for what I’m referring to as “Traffic Observation Day.” It’s not a sting or a trap… just a straightforward look at what’s genuinely happening and why reducing speed is essential.

So buckle up, and ride with me as we take a closer look at speeding, safety and how a little more awareness behind the wheel could go a long way.

Join the stream and engage in a discussion on how we can collectively work towards safer roads. Ultimately, the goal isn’t merely catching those who speed but ensuring everyone’s safety.
