(KTLA) – It’s no surprise that phones, wallets and keys are often left behind in rideshare vehicles. But a urinal or a taxidermied rabbit? Those are slightly more rare.

Uber has released its 2025 “Lost & Found Index,” which lists the 50 “most unique” items left behind in its cars, as determined by the company. Among the more memorable, perhaps, are a mannequin head with human hair, a set of Shrek ears, divorce papers, breast milk, a live turtle, 10 live lobsters and a Ghostbusters prop “ghost trap.”

The full list of items can be found below. Each entry is also written in the passengers’ own words (e.g., “my turtle” or “favorite peanut butter,” etc.) and taken directly from their lost-and-found queries.

The rideshare giant also ranked the 10 most “forgetful” cities that lead the pack when it comes to abandoned items. New York was first, followed by Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, DC. Rounding out the list were San Francisco, Boston, Newark, Dallas and Houston.

The Saturday before Halloween was also the most-forgetful day for Uber riders in 2024, according to Uber.

“From wayward mannequin heads to live lobsters, Uber riders have left behind some truly unforgettable items this year,” Uber executive Camiel Irving was quoted as saying in a recent press release .

Irving further touted a feature to help passengers retrieve their lost items via the app — if indeed they didn’t forget their phone in the backseat. (In that case, passengers can still visit help.uber.com for information on retrieving a misplaced phone, mannequin or turtle.)
