Unexploded Grenade Found in Orlando Community, Fire Department Reports

    ORLANDO, Fla. – Fire department crews discovered a grenade while responding to a call in an Orlando neighborhood on Friday afternoon, officials reported.

    In a statement, the fire department detailed their response to a “possible explosive device” located in the 3000 block of Graceland Court.

    Upon arrival, emergency crews determined that the device was, in fact, an inert grenade, according to the officials.

    “The situation has been handed over to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team from Patrick Space Force Base,” the statement indicated.

    No further details were shared, including the reason for the grenade’s presence at the site.
