United Way of Champaign Co. asks community to match $20K donation to feed local families

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — As the government shutdown continues to affect many, eateries and groups throughout Central Illinois are stepping up to provide meals for those in need. In Champaign County, United Way is making a significant contribution to this effort.

The United Way of Champaign County has completed its Farmers Feeding Families Harvest for the season and is donating $20,000 from this initiative to support local families. This year, they’re inviting the community to match their donation to amplify the impact.
