One dead, four hospitalized after Piatt Co. crash

URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — A violent altercation unfolded in Urbana on Sunday evening, resulting in four people being hospitalized with injuries from stab wounds. The injuries varied in severity, with some being minor while others were life-threatening.

The Urbana Police Department raced to the scene at the intersection of Hunter Street and Lierman Avenue shortly after receiving calls about a “large fight” around 5:45 p.m.
