Missing Oregon man may have fallen in hole, police ask for help

In a pressing appeal, authorities in Oregon have reached out to the community to aid in the search for Thomas Weightman, a 78-year-old man who vanished on October 14th. His disappearance has left his family and the Forest Grove Police Department increasingly concerned.

According to his relatives, Weightman left his home on foot at approximately 10 a.m. that day, but he never made it back. The family managed to establish brief contact with him over the phone, during which Weightman mentioned that he had fallen into a hole and was disoriented about his location.

The Forest Grove Police Department has made attempts to pinpoint Weightman’s whereabouts by triangulating his cellphone signal. Unfortunately, these efforts were hindered by the area’s remote nature, making it difficult to obtain an accurate position.
