APOPKA, Fla. – The search intensifies for a 76-year-old man who disappeared on New Year’s Eve in the vicinity of Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, as reported by the Apopka police.

Carlos Zigrovic (Apopka Police Department)

Carlos Zigrovic was last seen after arriving at the picturesque Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive around 2 p.m. on December 31. After parking his car, he ventured into the surrounding area on foot, leaving his vehicle behind.

Authorities have reason to believe that Zigrovic might still be in the vicinity of 2850 Lust Road, where he was last observed. His family and the community are increasingly concerned for his well-being.

At the time of his disappearance, Zigrovic was dressed in light beige or green long pants paired with a long-sleeve blue shirt. Standing at 6 feet, 3 inches, and weighing approximately 175 pounds, he is easily recognizable by his blue eyes, gray hair, and the glasses he wears.

The Apopka police urge anyone who might have seen Zigrovic or has any information regarding his whereabouts to reach out immediately by calling 407-703-1757.
