Search for missing Lake County woman


Lake County, Florida – The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the community for assistance in locating Billie Jo Green. She was last seen on February 27, 2026, traveling eastward on Wilson Parrish Road near State Road 450 in Umatilla.

Green was last observed wearing a heavy jacket, the color of which is unknown, along with gray sweatpants and Crocs. She is identified as a white female, standing approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds. She has long hair that is a mix of blonde and brown, and blue eyes.

Distinctive features include piercings in her right eyebrow and left nostril, as well as tattoos located on her left outer thigh and left inner ankle. The authorities have circulated a photograph of Green on the sheriff’s office’s social media platforms, urging anyone who may have seen her to get in touch with investigators.
