PALM BAY, Fla. – Central Florida experienced thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon, which brought hail and strong winds that led to a portion of a sizable oak tree falling onto a home in Palm Bay.
Palm Bay Fire Rescue reported that the storm “disassembled” the large tree, and a significant section fell on a house in the city’s southeast area.
Officials said that the part of the tree that fell did not enter the home and that no one in the home was injured.
Several NEWS 6 viewers shared video of hail in Palm Bay as those storms moved through the area.
