On Monday morning, tragedy struck Interstate 81 in Washington County, Virginia, as a fatal accident claimed one life. The Virginia State Police (VSP) have reported that the crash occurred on the northbound side of I-81 near mile marker 31, shortly after 6 a.m. According to initial reports, an SUV traveling north collided with a stationary tractor-trailer that was stopped in the right lane. Further details on the incident are still unfolding.
