SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Each month, I dedicate some time to highlight one of our wonderful four-legged friends who is looking for a permanent home, but today’s feature is uniquely special.

We’re coming to you from Seminole County Animal Services, where the focus is on some of their sweetest, most deserving residents — senior dogs.

These wise, older companions may have a few gray hairs, but they still have plenty of love to offer. Whether it’s leisurely walks or lengthy cuddle sessions, they provide a tranquil and faithful companionship that only age and wisdom can deliver.

And this weekend, the shelter is giving them the celebration they deserve with a senior dog graduation event.

That’s right — dressed in caps and gowns. It’s a fun way to celebrate these wonderful dogs and give them the exposure they need to finally secure a loving home.

Whether you’ve been thinking about adoption or just want to show your support, tune in today at 10 a.m. as we introduce you to a few of these furry graduates.

Let’s get these pups across the stage and straight into a forever family, because every dog deserves a happy ending — especially those who’ve waited the longest.
