In an exciting turn of events for wildlife enthusiasts, the second eaglet in a Johnson City nest, closely observed through ETSU’s Eagle Cameras, greeted the world on Monday morning. This arrival came just on the heels of its older sibling’s debut. The first eaglet of the season, affectionately tagged as JC26, broke free from its shell under the watchful eyes of its proud parents, Boone and Joelene, at precisely 6:54 a.m. on Saturday. The birth of these eaglets has captivated the community, marking another year of successful hatching for this well-followed eagle family.
