City of Savannah to showcase Ben Van Clark Park improvements

SAVANNAH, Ga. () — With storms and rough weather predicted for this weekend, the City of Savannah is notifying residents about events that have been postponed and rescheduled.

The following events have been postponed until further notice:

  • The Child Development Associate (CDA) Program, originally scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., has been postponed.
  • The Fall Garden Kick-Off Event has also been postponed.

The following events remain on schedule:

  • Youth Tackle Football (RLS) at Daffin Park,
  • Various Community Center Rentals (RLS) is on schedule.

The Adult Field Day Special Event (RLS) at Minnick Park has been rescheduled. A new date and time have not been provided by the city at this time.

In addition, the Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center will not be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and all city community centers will remain closed on Sunday, Sept. 28.
