TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Lottery announced Wednesday that a woman claimed a $900,000 jackpot from a lottery ticket she bought at a Publix in Brooksville.
Florida Lottery officials said Lenora Carpenter claimed the prize from the JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY drawing held on Dec. 20, 2024.
She bought the ticket at the Publix at 19390 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville. The store will receive a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The $1 game gives players a triple chance to win the jackpot. Each ticket comes with three sets of numbers to match with the winning numbers drawn.
For the first set of numbers, players can choose six numbers from 1 to 46. The second set of numbers will be randomly selected.
Players win by matching three or more numbers from the same set to the winning numbers drawn.
Jackpots start at $250,000 and can roll over to reach $2 million.
The next drawing will be held Friday, April 4, at 11:15 p.m. ET. The jackpot is currently at $250,000.
