A Southern California woman has been sentenced to 15 years to life in prison after being found guilty of causing the death of a Hollywood actress through a failed silicone injection procedure. The sentencing took place on Wednesday.

Libby Adame, aged 55, was convicted earlier this month in Riverside County on charges of second-degree murder and practicing medicine without a license. The charges were related to the death of Cindyana Santangelo in March 2025, following a silicone injection administered at Santangelo’s Malibu residence.

Cindyana Santangelo, 58, was known for her roles in television series such as “CSI: Miami,” “ER,” and “Married with Children.” She also appeared in the music video for Young MC’s 1989 classic, “Bust a Move.”
