A BRIT husband has vanished after a Benidorm stag do, prompting a desperate plea from the family.
Jason Taylor, 36, was last spotted on airport CCTV – but never boarded his flight home, according to his wife.
Jason was due to fly to Birmingham from Alicante at 10:30am on Saturday, but instead vanished.
The Welsh engineer had been celebrating a stag do in Benidorm with mates.
His wife, Maria Taylor, told the Spanish Eye that local cops had obtained CCTV of his last known movements.
She mentioned, “He stood in line at the desk for approximately three to four minutes before leaving the airport. He headed in the direction of Torrellano, and that’s the last sight of him.”
The distraught wife revealed that family members had rushed out to Spain to join the search.
She added: “We’ve got loads of locals helping look for him too.”
Maria has “no idea” why her husband left the airport, but her running theory is that he went outside to “clear his head” and got lost.
Jason’s pal, Gaz Edmunds, explained how the missing Brit became separated from the group.
He said: “Our EasyJet flight to Birmingham was due to depart at 10.30am, with the gates closing at 10.00am.
“Jason had lost his phone so had to access his boarding pass from someone else in the group assisting who was already passed the gate.
“We attempted multiple times to scan his boarding pass, but it was declined, and the gate wouldn’t open, displaying an error message instructing to contact the airline.”
Gaz said that Jason went to look for help, with one of the group waiting by the gate for him to come back – but he never materialised.
