NEW YORK (WABC) — A winter weather advisory is in effect for portions of our region on Sunday for freezing rain. The National Weather Service says icing will be possible, resulting in slippery roadways and hazardous travel conditions.

The freezing rain will be north and west of New York City with a glaze of ice and slick travel. Overall, expect occasional rain.
