NEW YORK (WABC) — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut for Wednesday morning.
Expect freezing rain and a light glaze of ice that could result in slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

The advisory impacts the northern suburbs, portions of the mid-Hudson Valley and the Catskills as well as parts of southern, central, northern and northwest New Jersey and Northern Fairfield in Connecticut.

Meanwhile, an AccuWeather Alert will go into effect Friday for the chance of snow around the morning commute.

Lee Goldberg thinks we will most likely either see 1-3 inches or 3-6 inches from the storm. The higher totals will be to the south and east and lower totals north and west.
