Amber Gill has reportedly quit Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins after just 48 hours.

The latest series of the Channel 4 military training series has been tipped to be the toughest yet and it looks as though it’s claimed its first victim in the form of the Love Island star, 24, with reports stating she ‘couldn’t hack it any longer’.

Meanwhile, TOWIE favourite Pete Wicks, 33, was forced to bow out of the programme after just 24 hours hours he is said to have broken a rib.

Amber was one of the big draws for the show, alongside a host of other reality stars including Ferne McCann, Asley Cian and Calum Best.

But it seems that things proved too tough for the Newcastle native as she handed in her number to the show’s ex-Special Forces soldiers after just two days.

A source told The Sun: ‘The show bills itself as the hardest thing on telly – and it’s lived up to its reputation once again.

‘Amber is by no means a wimp, but just couldn’t hack it any longer. She’s a reality star turned fitness expert and even she couldn’t stay longer than two days. She was gutted but couldn’t carry on.

‘Meanwhile, Pete really hurt himself on the course, and had to withdraw on medical grounds. Doing some of the stuff that the directing staff want you to do with a broken rib is just not possible. They both got an early flight home to the UK.’

MailOnline have contacted representatives of Amber, Pete and Channel 4 for comment.

Filming for Celebrity: SAS Who Dares Wins 2022 is underway in the Middle East, with 14 famous faces having signed up for the show, according to reports.

Stars including Maisie Smith, Ashley Cain and Jennifer Ellison will be put through gruelling tasks and interrogations to test them both physically and mentally over a period of days.

The Sun reports: ‘The group are already in the Middle East being treated to the gruelling secret selection process special forces must endure.’

The paper also added that the show will return to screens next year.

EastEnders star Maisie, 20, is no stranger to taking on a gruelling regime in the name of entertainment, having made it all the way to the Strictly Come Dancing final in 2020 with her professional partner Gorka Marquez.

Meanwhile, Ex On The Beach star Ashley, 31, often shares insights into his impressive workout regime, and was a professional footballer for the likes of Luton, Oxford United, and Mansfield Town.

Brookside star Jennifer, 38, will likely take to the rough training regime well, having revealed on Instagram that she climbed Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Scotland, last month.

The Sun adds that the rest of the lineup includes: Olympic sprinter Dwain Chambers, 43, Olympic javelin medallist Fatima Whitbread, 60, Olympian Jade Jones, 28, Strictly star AJ Pritchard, 27, and his brother, former Love Islander Curtis, 25, former TOWIE star Ferne McCann, 30, Calum Best, 40, who is the son of legendary Manchester United player George Best, Paralympian Jonathan Broom-Edwards, 33, and boxer Shannon Courtenay, 28.

In the last series of Celebrity SAS, the likes of Ulrika Johnson, Alexandra Burke and Kerry Katona were put through their paces by ex-special forces soldier Ant Middleton.

Celebrities abandoned their glamorous lifestyles and headed into the wilderness of the Scottish Hebrides in the remote island of Raasay.

Over eight days, the twelve celebs were put through a strenuous course that tested them both physically and mentally.

Despite the difficulty of the show, its outcome is to help the celebrities uncover their ‘true self’ – although not all the celebrities will have what it takes to get to the end of the show.

Ant Middleton announced in March that he will not take part in the forthcoming series of SAS.
