Ariana Grande fumes after tour sells out and scalpers swoop in

Ariana Grande expressed being ‘bothered’ after tickets for her Eternal Sunshine tour sold out swiftly, with scalpers immediately inflating resale prices.

The 32-year-old musician addressed her fans’ worries on her Instagram Story, promising she is actively seeking a solution to ensure fans can attend her 2026 tour.

This comes after some of her fans vented about how they were unable to purchase tickets during the presale and general sale.

Tickets from third-party resellers are exceeding 10 times the original prices for numerous shows, but Grande reassured followers that she’s been dedicating all her spare moments to resolving this issue despite her busy filming schedule.

On Saturday morning, she posted to say: ‘hi my angels, i have been on set all week but i wanted to let you know that the situation with secondary ticket resellers is on my radar.’

The singer—who is rumored to be having relationship troubles with her boyfriend and Wicked co-star Ethan Slater—added: ‘and naturally, this frustrates me deeply.’

The Supernatural hitmaker continued, ‘i’ve been on the phone every second of my free time fighting for a solution. i hear you and hopefully, we will be able to get more of these tickets into your hands instead of theirs. it’s not right.’

She assured her fans that she and her team ‘are doing everything we can.’

She said she ‘just wanted you to know that my team and i see it and that i care very much and we will do, and are doing everything we can. i love you all so much and thank you for your patience and understanding.’

Grande’s comments come after tickets for her 36 shows next year, including the additional dates she added earlier this week, sold out nearly instantly.

Tickets for her upcoming The Eternal Sunshine Tour, in support of her same-name, seventh studio album, went on pre-sale on Tuesday, September 9.

Many of her fans expressed their excitement for her highly anticipated roadshow since her last tour was over five years ago for her 2019 Sweetener World Tour.

Grande opted out of dynamic pricing for her shows, meaning that the price of her tickets were set in advance to be at the lowest $79 for nosebleed seats up to $799, excluding VIP packages.

In spite of her consumer-friendly choice, Ticketmaster options are now sold out and fans are being forced to explore resale options, which are being posted by third party retailer with a staggering upcharge.
