The new trailer for season three of the Sex and The City spinoff And Just Like That is here, and while fans are certainly excited for it, some couldn’t help but poke fun at the latest look into the show.

The teaser, released on Tuesday, featured Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon reprising their respective roles of Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York, and Miranda Hobbes.

The clip featured the actresses talking to camera, in between snippets from the upcoming season.

However, amused viewers were quick to mock the styling and editing of the three-minute long clip on social media, with some viewers claiming it looked stilted and odd.

‘Shot edited and scored like a pharmaceutical ad,’ declared one user.

‘This looks even worse than the first seasons, which I didn’t think was possible,’ joked another.

‘Who else is looking forward to the train wreck that is #AndJustLikeThat season three?’ asked another.

‘Just for some reasoned watched the season three trailer of And just like that and it still looks god awful,’ laughed someone else.

‘And that like that… We are back,’ another said.

The clip starts with Parker saying her iconic line, ‘I couldn’t help but wonder,’ before it cut to Nixon who says: ‘What’s in store for season three?’

It then shows Davis telling viewers to ‘watch the trailer now’ before showing clips from the upcoming season.

In addition, Nixon was slammed for her choice of clothing in the three-minute long promo.

In one scene of the clip, Nixon appears on screen wearing a button-down shirt, with one half bearing the colors and pattern of the Palestinian flag.

She paired the controversial shirt paired with a red tie.

Nixon denied the shirt was a subtle tactic to share her support for Palestine, but the actress has been outspoken about her stance on the Israel-Hamas war in the past.

‘The shirt was provided to Cynthia at an And Just Like That marketing shoot by the series wardrobe department. Any similarities to the colors are coincidence,’ a representative for Nixon told Newsweek.

Social media users were quick to criticize Nixon for wearing the flag of a country whose leadership does not support gay rights.

Others claimed she used the outfit to send a political message and some even said they would stop watching the show.

Newsweek reported that the shirt appears to be designed by Calvin Klein, based on a 2018 Facebook post from the designer that shows actress Cate Blanchett wearing a similar shirt to that year’s Festival de Cannes.

In the wake of the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, Nixon went on a three-day hunger strike.

Nixon, who is the mother of two Jewish children with her ex-husband, demanded that Former President Joe Biden call for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

She also signed an open letter that was signed by 260 other artists and addressed to the president and Congress demanding a ceasefire in the region.
