Glenn Close looked as glamorous as ever in a chic blue suit while attending the premiere of season two of her hit Apple TV+ espionage thriller Tehran at The Robin Williams Center in New York City on Wednesday evening. 

Ahead of the star-studded screening, the three-time Golden Globe Award winner, 75, posed for photographs on the red carpet as she flashed a bright smile and mingled with her costars, including Israeli actress Niv Sultan. 

In addition to rocking a black tank under her blazer and a matching heels, the Fatal Attraction actress, who plays Marjan Montazeri, ‘a British woman, living in Tehran’ on the series, completed her elegant  ensemble with a gold broach and sapphire earrings.

Her layered cropped tresses were styled in waves while her makeup consisted of a pale pink blush for a healthy glow to her cheeks as well as a subtle black eyeliner.

Sultan, 29, turned heads with her bold black minidress with a plunging neckline and  extreme cut-outs on both its sides. 

She accessorized her racy frock with giant pearl drop earrings and a coordinating statement necklace while keeping her dark brown tresses pulled back in a sleek ponytail.

As she turned to the side, Sultan flashed plenty of sideboob in her backless midi dress, which fell just below her knees. 

While reuniting with her costar Shervin Alenabi, Sultan beamed and placed on of her hands on his shoulders, revealing her burgundy manicure.

Alenabi, 29, who is also known for his role as Baghdad in the 2019 thriller My Shadow, looked handsome in an all-black ensemble, which he paired with a silver necklace.

For the occasion, Shila Ommi stunned in a green strapless gown, chunky necklace, a clear necklace and coordinating bangles are her wrist. 

Elnaaz Norouzi stood out from the crowd in a one-shoulder silver gown with a daring slit up the front, which showcased her toned legs.

Meanwhile, Arash Marandi cut a dapper figure in a black tuexedo and partially unbuttoned white dress shirt without a tie.

Season two of Tehran, about a Mossad hacker-agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity to help destroy Iran’s nuclear reactor, will hit premiere on Apple TV+ on May 6, 2022. 

Close did not appear in the first season, which found Sultan’s character, Tamar, scrambling after her mission failed and her life in jeopardy. 

Close, who has earned eight Academy Award nominations through her career, is also currently staying busy filming Brothers with Josh Brolin, Brendan Fraser and Peter Dinklage from Palm Springs director Max Barbakow.
