Superstar musician Ed Sheeran was spotted celebrating rapturously after his beloved Ipswich Town equalised against Norwich.

The Tractor Boys drew 2-2 with their East Anglia rivals courtesy of a 60th minute goal from Wes Burns.

The draw moves them level on points with Leicester City at the top of the Championship table but with the Foxes still to face 16th place Birmingham on Monday night.

Despite Norwich striking back in quick succession through a Jonathan Rowe brace, Sheeran could cheer again when Burns fired home the leveller with half an hour to go.

Sheeran is a global superstar, but is often seen at Portman Road cheering on the Tractor Boys.

Recently the Shape of You singer joined Sir Elton John in the stands to watch Ipswich vs Watford.

The former Watford chairman watched his side fall to a 2-1 loss courtesy of goals form George Hirst and Sam Morsby.

Sheeran also interrupted manager Kieran McKenna during his post-match interview to celebrate the win.

He wrapped the boss up in a big bear hug all while sporting an Ipswich Town christmas jumper.

IT’S ALL KICKING OFF!

It’s All Kicking Off is an exciting new podcast from Mail Sport that promises a different take on Premier League football.

This week Sheeran was overlooking the draw as the Tractor Boys continue their search for Premier League football.

The fans created a brilliant atmosphere to greet the sides from the coaches, producing blue flares with smoke billowing around the teams as they arrived at Portman Road.

They, along with Leicester, are runaway leaders of the Championship with third placed Leeds United currently 11 points behind.
