All of your old Switch games will work on the Nintendo Switch 2. 

Better still, they’ll look and play better. 

Nintendo has confirmed all games will get a modest performance bump on Nintendo Switch 2 with higher frame rates and better resolutions. 

Nintendo will also sell upgraded versions as Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games. 

Like on PlayStation, if you already own a game on Switch, you can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition game for a nominal fee. 

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will get these upgrades for free.

Other major hitters coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 include Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Street Fighter 6 and Final Fantasy VII Remake.
