Bill Gates apologises to staff over Epstein links
Bill Gates has reportedly spoken about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein in a meeting with his staff, admitting to affairs on his wife and apologising for his actions.
The Microsoft founder – who has faced growing scrutiny over his relationship with Epstein and appeared multiple times in the 3 million recently released files by the US Justice Department – told Gates Foundation staff at a town hall that “I did nothing illicit. I saw nothing illicit”, according to the Wall Street Journal, which obtained a recording of the meeting.

At 70, Bill Gates has publicly acknowledged that associating with Jeffrey Epstein was a “huge mistake.” However, he maintains that he never interacted with any of the victims or the women linked to Epstein.

Melinda French Gates reflected on the recent resurfacing of her former husband’s connection to Epstein, describing these reminders as evoking “very, very painful” memories from their marriage.

In an interview with NPR’s Wild Card podcast, French Gates expressed her detachment from the situation. “Whatever lingering questions there may be, I can’t begin to know all of them. Those questions should be directed to those involved, including my ex-husband,” she stated. “They must address these issues, not me.”

The Gateses publicly announced their divorce in 2021, marking the end of their lengthy union.
