A homicide investigation is underway after a man was fatally stabbed in a shopping centre carpark in Perth‘s south.

Today, detectives meticulously examined the scene of a recent incident, striving to unravel the mystery behind a pool of blood that starkly marks the unfolding events.

Authorities were summoned to Talisker Gate in Aubin Grove late last night, at approximately 10:40 p.m., where they discovered a man suffering from stab wounds. Despite being swiftly transported to the hospital, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

According to several residents who spoke with 9News, a vehicle was observed entering and exiting the parking area around the time of the incident, although no suspicious sounds were reported. Many locals remained oblivious to the crime scene developing so close to their homes until the following morning.

The exact circumstances of the incident, including the weapon used in the stabbing, remain under active investigation as authorities work diligently to uncover the truth.
