Dash cam footage has captured the moments before and after a road rage incident in Melbourne’s south-east involving a renowned ex-football commentator.
Stunned witnesses watched as Rex Hunt armed himself with a gardening tool and threatened another driver after his car was hit in Beaumaris at about 10am today.
As the driver attempted to drive away, Hunt was seen yelling from the middle of the intersection to stop.
The two pulled into a nearby alley and that’s when the footy commentator exited his car with the tool.
“You wanna die? You wanna die? Do you want to die? I got three months mate, do you want to die?” Hunt said in the footage.
Several witnesses were forced to intervene.
9News has contacted Hunt for comment but received no response.
Victoria Police told 9News they were not notified of the incident.
