Guy Sebastian’s former manager Titus Day has been found guilty of embezzling the pop star’s money.

The 49-year-old was accused of failing to pay Sebastian almost $900,000 in royalties and performance fees over five years.

He had pleaded not guilty to 47 counts of embezzlement.

Day denied embezzling money from his client and his lawyers argued the police case was flawed and that officers had been seduced by Sebastian’s high profile.

Today the jury found Day guilty of 34 charges and not guilty of 13, after a week of deliberations.
