Authorities reported that a vehicle carrying three occupants was moving down Cape Willoughby Road in Cuttlefish Bay when it overturned shortly before 11:30 pm.

Both men died at the scene.

Craig’s daughter paid tribute to her dad on social media.

“Our hearts are absolutely broken,” she said.

“We love you sooooo (sic) much dad and will miss you forever and ever.”

Goodwood Baseball club told members via social media that the “much loved” life member had died.

The men worked at island hotel, Sea Dragon Lodge.

The hotel owners said they were “deeply shocked and saddened” by the news.

“Our thoughts, love and strength are extended to the loved ones of those involved,” they added.

The driver, a 42-year-old man from from Hackham West, was left with minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

He has since been arrested and charged with two counts of causing death by careless use of a motor vehicle.

The driver is due to appear in Kingscote Magistrates’ Court in November.
