Homicide squad investigates woman's death in Perth home
Homicide squad detectives have swarmed a street in suburban Perth where a woman’s body was found in a home today.

Onlookers witnessed a swift response from police converging on Mayali Bend in Banksia Grove following reports of a woman found unresponsive around 9 a.m.

Despite swift intervention by St John Ambulance WA paramedics who provided immediate medical attention, the 42-year-old woman tragically could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the location.

The area remains partially cordoned off, with homicide detectives and forensic teams meticulously examining the scene for clues.

A man in his 40s is currently cooperating with police as part of their investigation.
