Cifrado will run the JJ Atkins at Brisbane’s Eagle Farm Racecourse.

While Little has had plenty of winners, Cifrado is his pride and joy.

The colt cost $320,000 according to ANZ Bloodstock News.

It was bought by Towoomba trainer after Rex Lipp after Little gave him a blank cheque following his lotto win.

The two-year-old has won almost $900,000.

Little said he didn’t believe it when he scooped the jackpot.

“When I saw them (the numbers) come up, 1, 2 ,3, 12, 30, I said ‘oh! I’m getting more than my money back’.

He resigned from his job the next day and went on to buy homes for his children and a sports car for himself, as well as getting into horse racing.

He said winning races is better than winning the lottery.

“People might scoff at this, but the money is great – but it’s only of secondary importance when you see the cups,” he said.

“Lotto’s a game of chance, winning a group one with the trainer training a horse, getting a jockey primed, that’s the excitement.”
