Missing fisherman in Adelaide
A search for a missing fisherman is under way after he vanished in Adelaide last night.

The search is underway for Eh Kapaw Doe, who was last spotted around 10:30 p.m. yesterday near Recreation Drive at Port Gawler.

Authorities report that Doe was fishing with friends when his light, visible in the distance, suddenly disappeared, prompting his companions to begin searching for him.

A concerted effort by multiple emergency services is focused on combing through the mangrove areas on Recreation Drive and extending along the coastline from Port Gawler to Middle Beach.

The search operation involves the South Australia Police’s water operations unit, PolAir, the State Emergency Service, and Surf Life Saving SA.

Rescue teams are utilizing hovercrafts and jet skis in their ongoing efforts to locate Doe.

His family has expressed that Doe is familiar with the area and is an adept swimmer.

Police want to speak with anyone who may have seen the fisherman walking in the area, helped him or given him a lift.
