The long-time radio star, 51, is considering exploring a wrongful termination lawsuit in the wake of ARN’s statement to the ASX, which suggested she had walked away from her contract at KIIS FM, the Australian Financial Review reports.

According to insiders, Henderson is claiming that ARN unjustly terminated her contract and did not offer her an alternative show, as reported by a reliable source.

Nine.com.au has reached out to both ARN Media and Henderson’s representatives for their comments on the situation.

Last week, Henderson issued a statement clarifying that she did not voluntarily leave the Kyle and Jackie O Show after an on-air disagreement with her co-host, Kyle Sandilands.

“There has been considerable speculation and misinformation regarding my exit from the show over recent days,” Henderson stated through her manager, Gemma O’Neill.

“I want to emphasize one key point: I did not quit or resign,” she asserted.

“I am profoundly saddened by the recent events and the potential conclusion of the show. This development has been as surprising to me as it has been to everyone else,” Henderson added.

In addition to Henderson’s departure, ARN also announced that Sandilands could be out of the job if he does not prove within 14 days that he did not breach his contract for an alleged “act of serious misconduct” on that fateful show.

Sandilands denied breaching his contract in a statement released earlier this week.

Henderson and Sandilands were little more than a year into their fresh contracts with ARN, reported to be worth $100 million each over 10 years.
