A man has been hospitalised following what is suspected to be a gangland shooting in Sydney's Inner West.

In a statement, police said they found a man with gunshot wounds at Walker Street in Rhodes on Monday about 6.30pm.

The man has been hospitalised, and a crime scene has been set up.
