The Royal Adelaide Show is gearing up, with organizers anticipating around 400,000 visitors to flock to Wayville for the event.

This year’s attractions include the Skyflyer XXL, a towering ride standing at 60 meters, which necessitated clearance from aviation authorities due to its impressive height.

“From the top of this tower in Wayville, I believe you’ll get a glimpse of Glenelg,” mentioned Jamie Pickett from Skyflyer XXL.

As the event approaches, approximately 10,000 personnel, including staff and volunteers, are busy readying the Wayville showgrounds.

The Country Women’s Association (CWA) is tasked with providing meals for these dedicated workers.

“We strive to create a welcoming, home-like environment,” stated Evelyn Dyer from the CWA.

“And we give all home-cooked meals… and it’s just lovely to have that service for people.”

Attendees have been advised to plan their travel arrangements in advance.

Due to partial tramline closures, buses will replace tram services.

Shuttle services will operate from designated city UParks, offering a special parking rate of $8.
