There is less than a month on the clock for an unknown lotto winner to claim a $670,000 prize drawn in 2018.

The Gold Lotto jackpot of $671,513.12 belongs to one of six winning tickets drawn on Saturday, August 11, 2018.

The ticket in question was purchased at Golden Lucky News, 1-29 Millaroo Drive, Helensvale, on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

Under Queensland lotto rules, winners have up to seven years from the draw date to claim their prize.

That means the mystery winner only has until August 11 this year – just three weeks – to pick up their cash.

It’s currently the oldest unclaimed lotto prize in Australia.

These were Australia’s lottery winning hotspots this year

“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 immediately to begin the process of claiming your prize,” stated The Lott spokesperson, Anna Hobdell.

The winning numbers in the Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3867 were 1, 23, 8, 15, 44, 20, while the supplementary numbers were 11 and 18.

Melanie Zhi, the owner of Golden Lucky News, expressed her hopes that the mystery division one winner checks their ticket and comes forward before the deadline to claim the prize.

“While most of our customers are locals, we have plenty of visitors from various places, especially from New South Wales. Honestly, the winner could be anyone,” she commented.

“I took over the outlet late last year, and it would be incredible if the mystery winner came forward.”
