OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – This month, Osceola County deputies apprehended a woman and a man suspected of collaborating to rob someone at a hotel near Kissimmee back in April, as stated by the sheriff’s office.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reported that Amandalee Kasilowski, aged 29, and Iain Cade-Alamin Petrie, aged 25, were taken into custody on May 6 and May 22, respectively.

According to the release, Kasilowski, known to the victim only as “Amber,” arranged to meet with the victim on April 26 at the Red Lion hotel situated on West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. The victim recounted meeting the woman online, and after spending a pleasant evening together, they returned to his hotel room, where he was subsequently robbed, as per the sheriff’s office report.

The woman had opened the room’s outer door and let in a man who wore a ski mask and who “kept his hands near his waist band, implying he had a weapon‚” all while the woman took the victim’s wallet, keys and phone, the release states. After then asking for the victim’s PIN, which he provided out of fear, the woman left the room while the man stayed behind, according to the release.

The woman came back to the room about 15 minutes later, returning the victim’s property and leaving with the man, investigators said. Checking his bank account, the victim saw that $2,180 was missing, according to the sheriff’s office.

Detectives have since managed to identify “Amber” as Kasilowski and the masked man as Petrie, arresting both via warrant, investigators said.

Kasilowski faces charges of unarmed home invasion, kidnapping to facilitate a felony, robbery without a firearm and credit card fraud, the release states. Petrie faces charges of unarmed home invasion, kidnapping to facilitate a felony and robbery without a firearm, according to the release.

The sheriff’s office is still investigating the incident, it said.
