Good morning, and thank you for being with us for the biggest night in fashion, the Met Gala 2025 from the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Every year introduces a fresh lineup of celebrity co-chairs. This year, they are Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, and A$AP Rocky — alongside Anna Wintour, the powerful Vogue editor who consistently supervises the event. NBA icon LeBron James serves as honorary chair.

Today’s Met Gala is the first to focus exclusively on Black designers and the first in more than 20 years to have a menswear theme.

Joining me to take you through the incredible outfits will be Jye Marshall, a Swinburne University of Technology Fashion Design Lecturer.

Jye will tell you a little bit more about himself in a second.

In the picture above designs are displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute exhibition, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.
