Wanted man named after three shot dead in western NSW

Police have revealed the identity of a man sought over a shooting in New South Wales’ central-west that has left three people dead.

Authorities are currently seeking Julian Ingram, who is also known by the name Pierpoint, in connection with an outstanding murder warrant.

Yesterday around 4:30 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to Bokhara Street in Lake Cargelligo.

Upon arrival, police discovered a 25-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Despite receiving immediate treatment, both victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

In a separate incident, officers were called to a second shooting on Walker Street within the same locality.

A major manhunt is underway. (Nine)

This incident involved a 50-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, who were both shot while in the driveway of a residential property.

The woman died at the scene while the man was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Both crime scenes are being forensically examined.

Specialist police, including tactical officers, have flown in to Lake Cargelligo and are now undertaking a large-scale search for the suspected shooter, Ingram.

He is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 165cm-170cm tall, of medium build, with short dark hair, and brown eyes.

He was last seen driving a Ford Ranger ute with NSW plates reagind DM 07 GZ.

The ute is described as having council signage, a metal tray back, high visibility markings on the side, and an emergency light bar on the roof.

Anybody who sees Ingram is urged not to approach and contact Triple Zero immediately.
